At Prevent Blindness Georgia, we believe that every child deserves the gift of clear vision. We hosted a vision clinic for 101 Hall County students who could not pass their initial vision screening. These students received a free comprehensive eye exam and a pair of prescription eyeglasses.
Why Vision Matters for Learning
Did you know that 80% of learning happens through sight? When children can’t see the board, read their books, or focus in class, their education suffers. Unfortunately, many families face barriers to accessing basic eye care, leaving children to struggle unnecessarily.
Thanks to our dedicated team, generous supporters, and partners we were able to bridge that gap and set these students up for success in the classroom and beyond.
